Dial in the saturation and character first — push until the sound has the weight, edge, or harmonic richness you’re after.
Then use the Output control to seat the track exactly where it belongs in the mix.

As the level comes down, the saturation subtly compensates through an inverse link, preserving density and tonal impact even at lower volumes. Instead of disappearing or going flat, the sound becomes tighter, richer, and more focused — locked into the mix without losing its personality.

This makes it easy to chase tone first, placement second — without compromise.
